1. Personal and Financial Data

Totem Finance DOES NOT collect, store, process, or transmit any personal or financial information to its own servers.

All data entered by the user (income, expenses, accounts, net worth, debts) is processed and stored locally and encrypted on the user's mobile device. Totem World and its developers do not have the technological capability nor access to view such information.

2. Third-Party Services (Advertising and Analytics)

The application uses third-party services provided by Google LLC to ensure its economic viability and proper technical operation. These services may collect non-personally identifiable information (such as device identifiers, obfuscated IP addresses, and network usage data):

• Google AdMob: Used to display ads within the app. AdMob may use cookies and/or mobile advertising identifiers to serve personalized ads based on user interests.
• Google Analytics for Firebase: Used to track general app usage (most visited screens, time of use) to help us understand how the product is interacted with.
• Firebase Crashlytics: Automatically collects crash logs when the application unexpectedly closes. This includes the device model, OS version, and the exact line of code that caused the error, allowing us to release fix updates.

3. Google Drive Integration

The application allows users to perform optional backups. When using this feature, the application requests permissions to access the user's Google Drive API.

This access is strictly limited (via Google's developer permissions) to creating and modifying only the files generated by Totem Finance. The application cannot read, modify, or delete any other personal file, photo, or document present on the user's Google Drive.

4. Application Permissions

For its proper functioning, the application requests the following native operating system permissions:

• Internet Access: To display advertisements, send technical crash reports, and sync backups with Google Drive.
• Storage (Read/Write): To generate and save exported reports (PDF, CSV, Excel) in the user's downloads directory.
• Biometric Authentication: To allow unlocking the app via the device's fingerprint or facial recognition. This verification is local and delegated to the operating system (Android/iOS).

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Since we do not store data in the cloud, the retention of your financial data depends entirely on you. If you wish to delete all your data, simply uninstall the Totem Finance application from your device and delete the backup file (if you created one) from your Google Drive account.

6. Children's Privacy

This application is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and are aware that your child has provided us with information, please contact us.

7. Changes to the Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and, if it is a major change, via an in-app notice. You are advised to review this page periodically.
